Winter 2026 season
Colonel Light Gardens Netball Club is registered with SAUCNA
The Winter 2026 season will commence for 6 team grades on 28th March 2026
There are 15 minor rounds and 3 major rounds (finals) on 8th, 15th and 22nd August 2026 (Grand Final).
All matches are played on Saturday afternoons in three timeslots: 12:00pm, 1:30pm and 3:00pm. However, we wish to advise, depending on team numbers, there may be a 4.30pm timeslot added at the Central Courts only (for U17 and Open teams).
Juniors - 8/U-15/U matches are played at various suburban court locations on a home and away basis.
Seniors - 17/U and Open matches are played at Association Courts in the South parklands, situated between Goodwood Road and Anzac Highway.

Weekly training is compulsory for all CLGNC players during the winter season and is held on Monday afternoons / evenings at our home courts : Cnr Princes Parade and York Avenue, Clovelly Park. Training times for each team will be announced once coaches are confirmed closer to the season start.
Age-groups for winter 2026 are based on the player's year of birth as outlined below. Ages are taken as of 31st Dec 2026.
8/U - 2019 and 2018
9/U - 2017
11/U - 2016 and 2015
13/U - 2014 and 2013
15/U - 2012 and 2011
17/U - 2010and 2009
OPEN - 2008 & before
Our club does not hold trials at this stage. Team placement will be based on the coaches feedback forms from the previous season, the player's previous netball history and positions played. If your child would like to play with friends or previous team-mates, you must clearly state this on your registration form. Consideration may be given to friendship grouping; in these cases players shall be graded on the ability of the lower division player. If no information is provided about team placement, friends, or preferred teammates—or if the people mentioned do not register—we will do our best to place players in a suitable team. Please note that team changes are not always possible, but we will accommodate requests whenever we can.
Registration for CLGNC will be done via the PlayHQ platform.

For those who have not used PlayHQ before, you will need to create an account. For players under 18 the account needs to be set up under the parent’s name and then any other siblings can also be linked to this account.
Payment of fees is required with registration to secure a place in a team. The fees for winter 2026 have been set at $195 per player for both Juniors (8/U-15/U) and Seniors (17/U-Open).
If a player chooses to withdraw their nomination after registration closes (18/1/2026) and a refund is requested, an administration fee of $100 will be retained by the club.
CLGNC is a registered Sports Voucher provider. To be eligible for the $100 (x2) voucher
- Your child must be attending school in Reception to year 9 in 2026
- You must not have already claimed a voucher in 2026
Please ensure you fit the criteria to claim otherwise this may hinder your registration
If eligible, sports vouchers must be claimed at the time of registration, by completing the form at the checkout and clicking the 'Government Voucher' button. We will no longer be able to do this process manually if you forget to do this step.
